Engage Me the online world is changing faster then some advertisers and marketers can adapt to. Joseph Pilotta, Ph. D. - BIGresearch - “The Impact of the New Media on Consumer Purchasing”

Adrian Schauer, Managing Partner, Vortxt Interactive - Learn how mobile marketing applications can turn impressions into interactions by making static media interactive. Consumers can engage the media and, by extension, the advertiser by using mobile as a bridge.

Speakers:

Joseph Pilotta, Ph. D. - BIGresearch - Mr. Joseph Pilotta is Vice President of Research for BIGresearch, a market intelligence firm located in Columbus, Ohio, that provides analysis of consumer behavior in areas of retail, financial services, automotive, and media. He is a former Professor for The Ohio State University, School of Communication. Mr. Pilotta holds a BA from SUNY Oswego; a MA and PhD from Ohio University, and a PhD from University of Toronto, Canada. He has published 11 books and over 200 articles and presentations.

Adrian Schauer, Managing Partner, Vortxt Interactive - At Vortxt, Adrian manages mobile marketing campaigns from conceptualization to execution, with a primary focus being on the optimal integration of mobile into traditional media and promotional campaigns, and on defining the Vortxt product roadmap. Prior to Vortxt, Adrian was a Manager in New Product Development at Rogers Wireless where he was responsible for SMS products, cross-carrier initiatives, and the launch of North America’s first mobile music download service. Adrian also served as the chair of the Cross-Carrier Short Code Council, Cross-Carrier Content Storefront Council, and mCommerce Committee, and was a member of anti-SPAM task force.
